Hearts Bike Drive

The Hearts Bike Drive is a community-focused initiative that runs from March to mid-fall that aims to provide affordable bikes for children. We receive bike and bike part donations from Mike Mitchell, the St. Albert Walmart, and from individual local donors. Our gracious volunteers then repair these bikes before making them available for sale or donation to local underprivileged children.

Our program offers an array of bicycles, with 20-inch bikes and smaller provided free of charge. Larger bikes are sold at incredibly low prices (around $100-250), which ensures accessibility to everyone. Proceeds from these sales cover the cost of bike parts and transportation, including supporting our partnership with local nonprofits like Mike Mitchell, who helps us distribute these bikes. Any leftover bikes we have are incorporated into our inventory, to help future families with their needs.

We are always in need of size 24" and 26" bikes for our older/ taller children and teenagers. Please contact us by this google form to donate any size of bike.

We also have a critical need of volunteer bike fixers/ mechanics. Please visit our Get Involved Page to fill out a volunteer application. Many hands make light work!
